RadioKlone is a simple and easy-to-use utility to listen to Internet radio stations and record your favorite programs and songs. Radio stations are organized by the type of music they broadcast, and they add up to over 2,000. You can build your own list of favorite radio streams easily, and tune in into any of them to listen to and record your favorite tracks in MP3 with just a few mouse clicks.
The program’s user interface is nice-looking and very simple to use. Radio streams are clearly classified by music style, so you just choose your favorite one and tell the program to do a search for you. The list of radio stations will appear on your screen almost immediately, but it will probably take you a bit longer to tune in into some of them. Not all the streams on the list are active, so first-time users may spend a few minutes trying to locate the ones that work. The program will always try to connect to the corresponding server, but it may or may not get a response from it. My advice is to move those streaming radio stations that do work to your favorites list, and start from there the next time you use RadioKlone.
Recording your favorite tracks and programs could not be any simpler – whenever you like what you are hearing, click on the “Record Radio Stream” button, and RadioKlone will start saving your music as an MP3 file in the folder of your choice. You can set the duration of the recording in seconds, or simply start and stop the recording manually. A simple, efficient, and free tool.
